iPhone 4S iCloud account, forgot password and email is deactivated

I recently found my sister's old iPhone 4S and I bought a charger for it. She had an iCloud on it, the problem is, her old email is deactivated, and she doesn't know the password for the iCloud account it. Is there any way I can remove the iCloud account from the phone, since it can't be used with the account. (Apple ID didn't exist when the phone was released and iCloud was Apple ID basically)

Locked out of old Icloud Ive been using my gmail as my primary email for my iphone but i wanted to add my old iCloud account and slowly switch all my accounts over to that so i can get rid of gmail, anyways I havent used the account in almost 10 years and no longer have the device that it was on or know the password… i tried to reset my icloud password but it just kept saying it would email the account with instructions on how to reset it, anyone know what I should do

Password recovery for iCloud email account on erased iPhone My son got a new phone & we transferred everything from his old phone to his new one & erased everything from the old one. We then realised that he couldn’t remember his password for his iCloud email account & now can’t get logged in to use his new phone & we can’t use his old phone to help as it’s been erased. Recovery said it’ll send an email to his iCloud account but we don’t know the password to access this. Tearing our hair out with this, googled everything but nothing is working. Can anyone help?
