This is a new issue, affecting both my CarPlay wireless adapters, in multiple locations.
I've tried 'forgetting' and connecting them multiple times, rebooting my iPhone 15 Pro Max etc., everything I can think of.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Solved it... my new iPhone 15 Pro Max unaccountably had mobile data for Maps turned off.
The only one - all other apps had it turned on, like my previous iPhone.
Oh well!

Hi there, as above... "my new iPhone 15 Pro Max unaccountably had mobile data for Maps turned off".
So, I just turned it on, Mobile Data > scroll down.
Music on CarPlay worked way better with mobile data for Music turned on, as above.

Thank you. My term is cellular and all are green on my end. Since it's telling me that it can't connect to server it seems like it might be something with my carrier service. Not sure why or how this started out of the blue but since others have resolved it seems possible

Thank you but I'm not understanding what you are meaning about Mobile Data. My cellular is turned on but I do not find any option for a "mobile date".

17.4.1 works just fine for me.
Maybe yours is called something different.
From your Settings page select the red box.
Then scroll down until you find Maps and Music. Turn them on so they are green. That should fix it.
