CarPlay "problem connecting to the server"

This is a new issue, affecting both my CarPlay wireless adapters, in multiple locations.


I've tried 'forgetting' and connecting them multiple times, rebooting my iPhone 15 Pro Max etc., everything I can think of.


Any ideas? Thanks.

I’m having the same problem. I called BMW and they were unable to help me.

Hi there, as above... "my new iPhone 15 Pro Max unaccountably had mobile data for Maps turned off".


So, I just turned it on, Mobile Data > scroll down.


Music on CarPlay worked way better with mobile data for Music turned on, as above.

Thank you. My term is cellular and all are green on my end. Since it's telling me that it can't connect to server it seems like it might be something with my carrier service. Not sure why or how this started out of the blue but since others have resolved it seems possible
