Why is my phone reading as iPhone 2? Then where or what is iphone1

Did you have an older iPhone paired to your account? Even when you removed that from your account if it has the same name (only "iPhone" ) your new iPhone will state as iPhone (2)

That is the reason why my device names are always different.

My iPhone is called (Nick's iPhone 15 pro) My previous iPhone was Nicks iPhone 13.

That will prevent this (2) to occur

To change the name of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, follow these steps:

On your device, go to:

1. Settings > General > About > Name

2. Tap the Clear Text button (X), enter a new name, then tap Done
