iPhone SE model showing as an iPhone 14?

I’ve encountered several times now where my iPhone SE is showing up as an iPhone 14 and an iPhone 14 Pro. Thru my vpn and websites verifying who I am . Has anyone else encountered this problem? Why would it show up as any other model?

anyone know why this could or would be?

thanks

iPhone SE, iOS 17

Not unusual. Your device is not broadcasting what model it is, but the browser does provide information through a User Agent strings that will identify the browser you are using and your OS. In addition they can get your screen size and some other information through Javascript that is useful for them to serve up content that can be viewed correctly on your device.

Some will attempt to use this information to try and determine what device you are using and it does not always get it right. The browser you use will also make a difference and some will not give them enough information for any accuracy in their estimation. It is a process called fingerprinting.
