iPhone 6s lost in 4 december 2023 in the night

Hi guys,

My subconcious is still not sure and i want to ask the community.

I have lost my iPhone 6s in the night, and after 4 days i have locked it digitally on my Apple ID account from my laptop. When you login to Apple ID it shows my device and is offline.

The phone is still offline after 1 month now.

I have got set up on my iPhone, my finger print method and pin code method.

My question is, in case someone has found my iPhone, can it still be track to find if i give my serial number of the phone ?

I look forward to hear from you guys.

To track an iPhone i know it can be possible, the question is, do they let us track an offline iPhone 6s ?

Thank you very much in advance guys and i look forward to hear from you!

With Sincerely,

Teofil Vlad D

No. It is not possible to track the location of a phone when it is Offline using Apple's Find My app.

The phone is Offline for any of these reasons, or a combination of these reasons:

1) The battery has run down

2) The phone was powered off and is not near any other Apple device

3) The phone does not have an Internet connection where it is currently located

In addition, thieves are very fond of placing a stolen phone in a special type of bag that will not allow the phone to send or receive any signals.....even if the phone is powered on.

I'm sorry, but if the phone has been Offline for a month, the chances of ever locating the phone are just about zero.
