Cancel AppleCare Billing Problem Email re because Old Credit Card Info, but Wallet is Up to Date with Current Credit Card Info for ApplePay. How do I fix so Monthly AppleCare is paid Not Cancelled (received multiple emails)

Credit Card was stolen.

I’ve received the following Form email re cancelling Monthly AppleCare multiple times.

Apple says AppleCare isn’t being paid, even though my Apple Pay is up to date with New Correct credit card info in Settings on my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

But this might be AppleCare for a different device that was Purchased for child. I want to make payments. Don’t want my card to be default credit card on that device for my child’s Apple Pay Purchases.

Followed Apple’s directions in email below but not solve problem. (most identifying info redacted).

You state that Apple says Apple Care is not being paid. If that’s correct, that’s an issue that you need to discuss with Apple support. Here’s what a user like you can do,

1) change payment method source

You state Apple Pay is up to date. But Apple Pay is not a payment method. A credit or debit card is a payment method. We can’t see what credit or debit cards are attached to your Apple ID.

You state it might be a different device. We can’t see what your devices are and what is and not eligible for Apple Care.

The email you received from Apple Care says a problem with your payment method. Here is the IT fix for your payment method that we have access to.

Add a payment method to your Apple ID - Apple Support

If there is some other fix, either we don’t have access to or you haven’t stated what the issue is. The solution is to make a phone call and talk to an Apple specialist in regard to your issue. They can see the issues and offer the appropriate solutions.

I followed apples instructions but they are useless. Next to payment and shipping it has the credit card, displays the last 4 digits, and has “(Apple Pay)” listed next to it.

thx for trying but looks like I’ll need a real human to deal with this. Which is a huge inconvenience.

Apple already messed up Find My. That’s inconvenient and annoying. This is exponentially more so.
