LDOCE plus was removed (after paid)

I recently found my APP, LDOCE+ (Longman dictionary), purchased a couple of years ago, is not working any more. I tried to reinstall it to see if it solved the problem. Unfortunately, I found that the app is no longer available.

I came across a similar link in the community but was not able to reply.

I am wondering if this is some kind of new trick to make money by selling an app and then removing it and forcing a user to repurchase it under a new App name.

I've contact the developer through email at: support@english-channel.tv. And here is the reply:

Reply from English Channel, Inc.

Following the steps listed, they will email back and tell you how to reactivate LDOCE (InApp version).

Thank you for your effort, and I was on the same path. I confirmed it's working.

If your old phone runs the same app, you may want to migrate your bookmarks to the new installation. Below are the steps needed. After steps 1, 2, and 3, an email with attachments will be received on the new phone.

Please save the attachments in the default download folder of iCloud, the app can recognize them before you do the import (click the top cloud icon)

I had the same experience.

I can no longer use the application I bought for a fee.
