Is there a way to recenter the cursor on MacBook Pro screen?

The cursor on my MacBook Pro sometimes seems to glide out of sight while I'm inputting stuff or just inadvertently jostling my mouse or moving my hand across the stupid touchpad. Is there some key combination that will essentially recenter my cursor on the display, or on the window with the last current activity?
