So today when I have the phone in my pocket it’ll try to unlock itself like how pocket dial works, I guess it did that too many times and got locked out. The whole pocket dial thing seems to happen quite a lot, on several occasions when I take out my phone it has the emergency call screen up. Is there a way to fix this? Seems like something that out to be fixed by now.

That’s up to you. I’d try disabling tap-to-wake first, though.
Back when I was having some similar “fun”, the iPhone was registering a touch while in my shirt pocket, with the screen facing my chest. Turning the iPhone around, or using a different pants or outer shirt or jacket pocket, ended that.
Turn off tap-to-wake, and test again: Use Raise to Wake on your iPhone - Apple Support
(It’s in Settings > Accessibility > Touch )
Also it shouldn’t say iPhone 6, I have an iphone XR

I would turn off Raise to Wake as well as additional protection against a lockout.
