Where to find the folder "Recent Places" in OSX - Macbook / iMac? (not recents or recents folder)

Unfortunately the Recents or Recents Folder does not show the last saved or exported file.

Unlike Windows when you save some file you can just right-click on Explorer and it will show you the last folder when you saved your file, this should be the expected behaviour on Finder when you option-click but it doesn't.

So I realized when you go to a downloads/save pop-up window, in the dropdown menu, you can see a category "RECENT PLACES" and in that folder it shows the folder where you saved the last file

By any chance is it possible to have this RECENT PLACES at the sidebar or in a shortcut? Because to fix the problem I already made a feature request for apple but it seems to be sleeping on the desk.
