Apple TV remote control
TV is compatible, CEc is turned on, volume control is working, but I cannot control the TV’s power. I keep getting “you can’t use System Control with this configuration”. How do I get it to work???

- Turn that setting to OFF, Restart your Apple TV then turn back ON once restarted to see if this helps
- Restart your TV
- Review your settings for HDMI - CEC - Some TVs require configuring an extra setting for how the HDMI port connected to your Apple TV behaves. Using the tv remote, look in your tv settings for any other settings that need to be enabled. See: If you can't control your Apple TV with your home theater or universal remote
- Check the HDMI port and cable, unplug and plug back in if necessary and make sure the HDMI cable is compatible or try another cable if you have one.
