Charged full amount despite using gift card code

I bought AirPods on the official website yesterday, and entered the gift card code as well. In the final sum of money paid, I double checked and confirmed the amount is after deducting the amount from gift card and confirmed payment. But when I check my Apple Account today, the full amount was paid instead and there was no more balance in my gift card as well …. Help
