Apple tv audio sync issue

I have a Samsung smart tv but I don't use it's apps, I have an Apple Tv 4k (2022) connected to it via HDMI eARC and a set pair of Homepod minis, I've used the audio from the tv and homepods simultaneously and it has been flawless no latency at all, but after apple tv and homepods got updated to OS 17.2 the audio is not synching anymore, there is a delay between the tv sound and the homepods sound, can anybody tell me how can this be fixed?

I’m not able to use audio from the tv and HomePods simultaneously. It’s one or the other. It’s hard to offer a fix when it wasn’t supposed to work this way.

Your HomePods need to be set as the default audio in the Apple TV Settings and under that setting, the Audio Return Channel needs to be turned on.
