iCloud Mail Sign-in

Im trying to sign in on Mail on my iPad but when I try to sign in with my iCloud em, it says''***********@*****.com is already added''. I want to use mail, not gmail on safari.

Impossible to sign in to Apple Mail on iPad using iPad Air 3 with padOS 16.5.1 (c) After changing my iCloud password, I'm having trouble with my Apple Mail app on my iPad. When I opened it today, I was greeted with a series of screens designed for when you haven't created an email account: 1. open Mail, get "Welcome to Mail" screen with account choices (iCloid, MS Exchange, Google, etc) 2. Select "iCloud", window pops up (see first image) to enter iCloud email address 3. I enter my iCloud email address, tap "Next" 4. Box for password appears, I enter my password, tap "Next" 5. "Verifying" message pops up (see second image) 6. stops verifying, and we go back to step 3 above and I'm in an endless loop. Of interest: Apple Mail works fine on my iMac. Any helpful ideas for getting out of this loop and regaining use of Apple Mail would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you, Tod

iCloud mail hi, i keep trying to login in to my iCloud email but it wont let me and keeps saying that ‘my account is already added to this phone’ on both the safari and mail app. how can i fix this as i need to see my emails again. Thanks
