Wrong country for Apple Books on Mac OS 14.2.1 (23C71)
I have a 6th Gen iPad Mini (running iPad OS 17.1.2), an iPhone 13 Mini (iOS 17.2.1), and a 2020 MacBook Air M1 (Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1). The Apple ID I use on all of them is the same, and it's configured to use "United States" as the Country/Region for all purchases. However, for some reason, the Books app on the MacBook Air instead shows me books and products for the Swedish store. This only happens on the MacBook air; on the iPad and iPhone, the Books app instead takes me to the US store (as expected).
I have tried multiple things to no avail to get the Book app on the MacBook to recognize that (according to my Apple ID configuration) it should be using the US store, including logging in and out from my Apple ID on the MacBook to try to get it to re-sync. I cannot for the life of me understand why it is completely ignoring the App Store setting, and I would appreciate any guidance to get this to work. Having the Books app on the wrong region on my MacBook means I can't access the book purchases I make on my other devices!
Just to highlight this again: the "Country/Region" setting in my App Store settings is already correctly set to "United States". However, the Books app on Mac OS refuses to recognize this setting for some reason and instead directs me to a completely different region.
