Apple Watch interfering car connection with iPhone 13 pro

Before getting apple watch series 8, I connected my iPhone 13 Pro with many (non Car Play) car BT audio systems. After connecting iWatch to iPhone via BT, car BT audio systems can no longer connect to the iPhone via BT. Researching it looks like lots of people are frustrated and have the same problem, yet all the support questions for this very common issue either go unanswered or are incorrectly addressed under the some other pretext unrelated to the real problem we are all experiencing???? I guess it turns out Apple Watch interferes with the car connection and you just cant connect a car audio and iWatch simultaneously so the only workaround is to switch off the Bluetooth on the watch while in the car. Any other ideas or is it simply a case of Apple releasing a deficient product to the world and continuing to choose to ignore the obvious user requirement because their technology cannot handle the missed requirement by their marketing team?? Terrible and frustrated after so many years of apple watches and iphones Apple chooses to pretend this problem doesnt exist.
