HomeKit multiple cameras live feed

Why is it that on my Apple TV I can view all five of my security cameras in HomeKit live at the same time, but on my Mac, iPhone or iPad I can see all the cameras but they refresh every 10 seconds and it's not a live feed. Is there a setting I don't see or is it not possible?
