My keyboard will not stay on. It starts and almost immediately shuts down. Should I seek repair or replace? It's a model A1314 and works with an IMAC High Sierra 10.13. Where would I take it for repair and where could I get a working used keyboard ir refurbished one?

I have replaced (3) keyboards. Link the lightning cord to the computer for a min. It can't be a non-apple official cord. It worked for me.
Since it has replaceable batteries instead of rechargeable ones you can't use it as a wired keyboard by using its charging cable. So, start looking for a replacement as previously suggested.
I use logi wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. Make sure they are compatible with apple.
