How to create "Install OS X El Capitan.app" from the .dmg file on a Mac that does not support El Capitan (e.g. M1Pro)

Hi,

I have a 2009 MacBook Pro that has a crashed hard drive and want to install El Capitan on it with a new hard drive. The only guides for creating a bootable drive to install El Capitan require me to have a Mac that supports El Capitan in order to convert the "Install OS X El Capitan.dmg" file to a "Install OS X El Capitan.app" file. However, I only have a 2021 M1 MacBook Pro.

Is there a way to do this with my 2021 M1 Mac?

Thanks in advance!

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.2
