Adobe Reader problems

Over the last month, whenever I create a PDF doc using Adobe Reader on my iMac (Monterey 12.7.2), the resulting document has a grey margin all round, with the orginal document accordingly reduced in scale.

I’ve exhausted all avenues with Adobe who suggest it’s a problem with the macOS interface, for Apple to remedy. Any suggestions?

Viewing PDF in preview gets blank pages Dear all, When viewing this PDF file in Preview I am getting blank pages. This is a new behaviour it was visible last time I used it several months ago. PDFs getting defaced when opening through "Preview" on MacBook with macOS Sonoma Hi, when you open a PDF file using the preview application (e.g. when you download a transfer confirmation from a bank) and then save it on disk - it becomes damaged and the content is unreadable. For the test, I saved the Word file to PDF, opened it in preview and saved it under a new name, it was cleaned... Nothing bad happens if you use Adobe Reader - sometimes I forget about it and I end up with trash instead of files. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

PDF files content goes missing while opening on Preview app on macOS Monterey Hey everyone. Is it just me or does the Preview app have a weird bug that destroys PDFs. Not even every page but the first page of PDF files gets erased and I end up with a blank page. This is very frustrating as I work with a lot of PDFs so I try to merge and compress them but as soon as I open it and scroll down and scroll back up, the first page disappears immediately. And I end up with a blank first page, all the content is lost. Additionally, the 'Compress File Size' feature is a complete waste because it only takes off a few kilobytes which is absolutely useless as opposed to other PDF compressors that would not destroy your PDF and take off a lot of megabytes when it compresses your PDF. I love apple but this Preview feature is not great at all [Re-Titled by Moderator]
