How to update my credit card in apple pay, is not letting make any changes

On my account settings for apple pay my debit card said expired but is not I think is a mistake on the due date, but is not letting me do any changes and when I try to delete it I cant because I have a subscription that need a card on file.

Can't change my payment method I can't update the payment method in Apple Pay. My card details haven't changed but they did decline once last month. Now it won't let me update the card details, delete the card, or add the card again. I don't want to add a different card because this is the one I use for my bills. The update card details page doesn't let me change any of the numbers or other details. I can’t add any of my cards to Apple Pay I keep trying to add my debit card to Apple Pay and keep telling me that it’s card issuer to contact them and I did and they said it’s not them .

You’ll need to add another payment method (temporarily), delete your current payment method, restart your iPhone, add payment method again using a 4 digit number for expiration date.
