I have a MacBook Pro (Catalina) that’s been working just fine. This morning I pulled out the plug without doing a proper shutdown. Went to turn it back on only to find jaggedy, multi colored moving lines as if it’s nervous, the APPLE logo way at the bottom, also jittery. Have tried SHIFT/CONTROL/POWER, also pressing POWER button continuously, to no avail. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
