Numbers Spreadsheets Missing

I opened my Numbers app on my phone and ALL of my recent spreadsheets are gone. If I tap "Browse" I can see spreadsheets older than 2017, but nothing remotely recent. Checked my wife's phone and my Macbook and the recent spreadsheets are missing there too. I use iCloud drive and iCloud storage. Where did my spreadsheets go?

How can I find my missing spreadsheets in Numbers? I have lost an important spreadsheet in my numbers app and other spreadsheets have gone missing. Numbers spreadsheets stopped syncing to my phone I used to use my numbers spreadsheets from my desktop and view them on my phone, i could update them while out on a job. now they are not there any more! i did do a clean reinstall of my phone, this was by mistake, i plugged my phone into the desktop to down load music and it told me i had to so i did, Which i thought later that was odd and i should maybe have looked for another option, but is done now. But since then the spreadsheets are no where to be seen. i want to get them back on my phone, (there are still on the desk top).

If you are sure you were saving the documents in iCloud and not on your devices then try signing into iCloud.com and looking in Numbers for iCloud.

Very likely you thought you were saving them in iCloud but actually they were saved somewhere else.

Have you tried a Spotlight search for them?

Thanks for the reply. Only documents from 2019 in iCloud. Two items in Recently Deleted.

Pages only has documents from 2021.
