iPhone 15 running slow

Hello All, As you all reported, my iPhone 15 was also slow and lagging. I turned off Chat back up in WhatsApp and it gave me good improvement. Try that and post me the results. As well turn off background app refresh..

Check if your VPN is on. Sometimes it will screw with your stuff.

I have the same issue (Iphone 15). Bought this phone on May.

Apps are running slow: Whatsapp, camera etc.

Notifications sounds are delayed. Even the screen lock sound is few seconds delayed. Often missing call notifications.

Even a Factory reset does not help. It will work better after a Factory reset for few hours/days. But will go back to the old state.

Can't Apple fix this issue?

my previous iPhone was 13 pro max, it’s way faster than the 15.

I think a large storage of memory plays a role in causing that performance issue, so mine is 512GB, I wouldn’t face that issue if it is 256 (I think)

Yes the same issue is with me I bought iPhone 15 last month only , it was working smoothly and there was no issue but now after a month I have encountered some issues like my iPhone lags and becomes sluggish whenever i use Instagram , Snapchat and sometimes while typing as well . I have tried restarting it as well , cleared the ram as well but still the problem continues I don’t know why

I have exactly the same problem only got my iPhone 15pro last month it’s was all working fine until now it’s sooo slow and sluggish it’s driving me mad 😤

I got a 15 pro max with the 256gb and I feel like this phone got under-clocked when the overheating was happening I’ve been researching why is acting slower than the 13 pro I had I can’t seem to find anything but I’m pretty sure something happened to these phones bcs it been so slow is not normal

Mine goes still whenever I try to use the TikTok app or the Snapchat app.It’s just too slow and frustrating, when I turn it off it takes forever to come on, I really I’m not enjoying it’s benefits at all.it seems just as a toy or a fancy box

Yes, me too. My phone is running extremely slow. I'm talking it took 2 minutes to finish typing a message just now, due to lag. Phone is up to date, Apps are closed (apart from what I'm using) and storage is at not even 50%. AND it's running hot. I'm not asking much from my phone right now, it's simple scrolling and commenting on social media.

Mine is the same. Brand new 15 pro max. Runs ok when I switch off and on again but slows right down after a couple of hours.

Amazon app that the product pictures are slow to load. Show the spinning icon ... Wish I had my IPhone 11 back. Come on Apple what's going on here ? I have done all that they suggested but the problem continues and is just Unacceptable from Apple.

The exact same thing has happened to me it makes typing messages so difficult and now my whole phone is running slow I regret getting the iPhone 15 I’ve had problems with it since the day I got it. It’s not a storage or battery issue either I’ve done everything Apple said to try and fix the problem and nothing works

I am having the same issue with my iPhone 15 pro 256gb. I am using less than 20% of my storage, but apps open slowly, safari runs very slowly, I have repeatedly reset the handset and followed instructions from the support team but it makes no difference. This handset runs very much slower than my 14 pro max, and even my son's iPhone 12 is significantly faster in everyday use. If I open YouTube on my 15 pro and at the same time on my Doogee work phone, which is a very cheap phone, the Doogee opens instantly whilst the iPhone takes 30 to 40 seconds for the app to open. Very disappointing situation.
