Random unknown email showing up in my suggestions alongside my own email

I was logging into my blockchain.com account and when I started typing my email a random unknown email appeared in my suggested words alongside my own email. I have never used this email or heard of that name before. Any suggestions on what it might be or why it showed up on my iPhone.

It's difficult to determine the exact reason for the appearance of a random unknown email in your suggested words, but here are a few possibilities and steps you can take:

  1. Your device might have saved suggestions from previous inputs or contacts. Check your device settings for any saved autofill or suggestion data. You can usually find this in your keyboard settings.
  2. If you have multiple devices connected to the same account, the suggestions might be coming from another device where this unknown email was used or stored.
  3. Some apps and services integrate with cloud services, and suggestions may be pulled from there. Check the settings of your app to see if it's connected to any cloud services.
  4. It's always good to ensure the security of your accounts. Check if any of your accounts, especially blockchain.com accounts, have been compromised. Change passwords if necessary.
  5. Check if you have Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement [Remove the phrase/word that is causing this error]
  6. Get in touch with Blockchain Support Center or Submit a request – Blockchain Support Center

Remember to always prioritize the security of your accounts, and if you notice any suspicious activity, take appropriate measures to secure your information. If you are unable to determine the cause or if the issue persists, contacting the customer support of the service you are using is a good next step.
