Macbook Air unable to communicate with EPSON ET-3850

Hi,

I had my Epson ET-3850 connceted wirelessly to my Macbook Air (OS Monterey v12.5.1) without problems until a yesterday when it was 'unable to connect to printer'.

I removed the printer via settings and attempted to add it to my Macbook again.

The printer shows up when I scan to l locate but when I try to add it I get the following message:

'Unable to communicate with the printer at this time.

Unable to connect to ‘EPSON ET-3850 Series._ipps._tcp.local.’ due to an error.'

I have the firewall switched off and the printer is switched on. The network hasn't changed and is ok.

Any ideas?

Many thanks.
