Mac won't allow me to reset to factory settings

I go to System Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. From here I enter my MacBook password and select 'Unlock'.

On the next popup I see 'Erase All Content & Settings' and I select 'Continue'. The next popup says "Sign out of Find My" and "Enter the password for the Apple ID "myemail" to turn off Find My on this Mac. The email listed is the wrong email and when I enter the password for my Apple account, I get an error that says, "Apple ID Locked Your Apple ID has been locked for security reasons. To unlock it, you must verify your identity." When I select "Unlock Account" I get another popup that says "This Apple ID is not valid or not supported". There is red text stating "The operation couldn't be completed. (AKAuthenticationError error -7003.)"

What can I do to bypass this error and reset my MacBook?
