I would like to switch from family plan to individual

For what exactly?


If you are referring to Microsoft Office 365 Family, and you are paying for it through your Apple ID, you can go into your account subscriptions, find the relevant subscription and select a different plan from the list.

If you are subscribed directly with Microsoft through your Microsoft Account, then the subscription management needs to happen through them.
