USB C port not working 2018 Macbook Pro

It seems like the USB-C ports both are not functional. However they were just recently. Can't charge my laptop or use any external accessories. Can anyone help?

macbook usb c ports not working correctly my macbook pro usb c ports will stop working after a few hours or if i restart my computer. i get no power from external devices nor does the laptop accepts any charge from my macbook charge ive already reseted the smc and pram multiple times but that didn't work, my battery only has 161 cycles and in normal condition the only way my usbc port will work again is if i remove the battery from logic board and drain all power and let sit for an hour. at that point the usb c ports will work again. but the same issues happens again as stated above . any ideas why this could be happening?

Macbook Pro 13 late 2020 Thunderbolt ports don't recognise drives or power adapter - until it's shut down I can charge my Macbook when it's shut down .. computer doesn't recognise anything plugged into Thunderbolt ports inc hard drives and the charger. I replaced the thunderbolt ports but problem still the same. Apple diagnostics thinks there might be a problem with charging - Apple code PPP020. Any ideas?
