I want to add my Spotify widget to my iPhone

I want to add my spotify widget to my iphone, and I recently changed the picture on my playlist. no matter what i do it will not update, i’ve tried resetting my phone 2x and changed the picture again and it still didn’t change from the original older one. what can i do to update it? this is very frustrating.
