Post the 17.2.1 IOS update last night 13/01/24, I do not have any emails cached since the 06/01/24. I have also tried to send a test email and so far it hasn’t arrived - so it looks like this IOS update has really messed up my email! Anyone aware if Apple have a resolution to this! Thanks

My email inbox has just gone blank, not even able to access the email accounts.
I started having difficulties with this on 5 May. Five weeks later I have fixed it.
I had those multiple reminders to update my email password, which took me on endless loops, confirming etc and then being asked to do it again.
Anyway, I tried it again today - it took about three goes but re-entering the password for the email account that had just stopped sending/receiving finally worked for me.
So - settings > mail > accounts
and then select the email account that is not working. It will be greyed out. And then go through its update/add your password etc details. And be prepared to do it several times. Good luck!
My problem is with microsoft exchange. other emails are working.

I registered my account as an outlook.com account, which I had never done before now. I had always registered it as an Exchange account on my iPhone. (It is, in fact, an Exchange account.) However, when I registered as an outlook.com account, it worked! So far, so good.
For me @nishinai’s recommendation did not work, after having nearly 2 weeks of issues on both the iPhone & iPad, I went for broke and deleted the Exchange Account and reinstalled it! Voila! It worked.
Note - When resetting it up, I did not change the settings it was like for like!
My MacBook was not impacted by the same issue!
I have not been able to open my email at all. I try to open my Microsoft outlook email and I get Microsoft error reporting message and sorry for the inconvenience, it asks me to restart outlook and then nothing. This has only happened since the update the other night. Help please.
Updated iPhone 14 to version 17 and now I cannot access my work email exchange.
so frustrating. When I try to access outlook it blocks my access saying I need to update to outlook version.
Does anyone have a fix for this?
None of the support recommendations worked. My case may be an outlier but here's what happened.
I had added a "~"in front my folder name hoping it would move to the top alphabetically. Didn't work and I forgot about it. After trying everything more than once I removed that the "~" and the folder updated. What???? The programmer in me thinks that this is an undocumented programmer debug flag to test something. It should be removed.
If you “allow” changes wouldn’t that put you at a security risk for passwords, etc?

Deleted account from settings, changed password, added it as new account, it’s working again.
