Wall Street Journal Subscription Not Working on Apple News - Problem with Server or Network

I subscribe to WSJ through the publisher and can access my subscription through the WSJ app and on a desktop.

my Apple News access stopped working around a month ago. When I try to sign in it first asks if it can use WSJ.com to sign in. Then it when I select “continue” it says cannot verify subscription because there is a problem with the server or network.

I’ve tried deleting the app, logging out then logging in on the WSJ app and nothing is working.
