Suddenly, my location is set as Washington D.C., and I'm in Covington, LA. How do I fix this on Sonoma 14.2.1 on my Macbook Air?

Location Services must be turned on in order to determine your current location.

When location services are on:
You may want to check that accurate time and date settings are determined automatically.
Also check your closest city in the same time zone is listed correctly, or set it.
