HP Utility for Apple Silicon
My old version of HP Utility (for printers) worked fine, using Rosetta 2 (It's an Intel app). I've been trying to update applications to Universal when I could, though. I found information that said HP Utility is available in Universal. Since installing it (5.53.0), though - when I try to run it, it complains that some components it needs are missing. I've used HP's Easy Start and Easy Admin apps, but neither leaves me with a working copy of HP Utility. I've tried going back to the old copy of HP Utility using Time Machine - but there are apparently other files that I need, since that version won't work, either. HP's support hasn't given me much help - just links to Easy Start or Easy Admin. I guess I should consider myself lucky that the printer still prints. I've tried power cycling the printer, restarting the computer, and adding the printer as new - all without luck. Can anyone think of another way to update HP's Utility app?
My computer is a 2023 Studio running mac OS 13.6.3 (Ventura).
