Cannot ungroup and remove accessory from HomeKit

There is an unresponsive lightbulb as part of a group, which I am trying to reconnect. When I try to ungroup the accessories so that I can remove it and reconnect it again, the button is available but it doesn’t do anything when I press it and the accessories remain group. When I go into the settings of the unresponsive accessory the option is available to remove the accessory, but when I press the button again, nothing happens, it is a matter lightbulb from Wiz, so I tried to restart the bulb from the Wiz app. I had to remove the accessory and reconnect it in the Wiz app and attempt to connect it via the home app. When I add the accessory it appears, but it will not allow me to connect it because it is telling me that it is already within the home app. I have tried restarting my phone multiple times also restarting the Internet connection, also trying to access the home app from the devices, but I come across the same issues. I cannot ungroup the accessories and I cannot remove the accessory. Coincidentally, following a restart of my phone, the home app is showing that none of my home hubs are connected, but when I have restarted other devices and accessed the Home app from them it is showing that I have home hubs connected and my other devices are working with those.
