Printing photos

Trying to print photos taken on iPhone Pro Max 15 to a Canon Pro 300. I have this printer for a couple of years and had an iPhone 12 and never had an issue. Now I just got the 15 a couple of months ago and now get a message on my iPhone saying the photo is too big to print from iPhone. I am on IOS17.2.1. Suggestions please.

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 17

The 15 Pro Max does have the option to take photos in higher resolutions than the iPhone 12. Check one of the photos that won't print to see what resolution and size it is by displaying the photo in Photos, swiping up from the middle of the screen to reveal the information panel, and looking at the second line below "Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max". It should say something like the following:

12 MP * 3024 x 4032 * 413 KB
