Change Apple ID
I would like to change my Apple ID to my gmail address. However when I plug it in I’m being told that it is already being used. How do I work around this?

If the email address is used as an additional email on your Apple ID or anyone else's, then try removing it from that account first. I would also check that it is not being used as a Rescue Email on any account. For more information on the different email addresses that can be associated with an Apple ID, check here:
