can i replace my phone with a newer model under apple care

My the back glass is shattered and a camera is broken. I want to replace my iPhone 12 Pro Max with the 15 pro max under apple care and not have to pay the full price for the iPhone 15 pro max

Trade in cracked iPhone 16 Pro Max with AppleCare? I currently have a 16-Pro Max. It has some cracks on the back of the phone, but I am ready to replace it and get the 17 Pro Max anyway. If I have Apple Care, can I just trade it in for a new phone?

Can you upgrade your iphone through Apple Care? I have a 12pro with apple care+. It needs the camera lens repaired. When I take it in, can I trade it in for an upgrade?

No. However, you can get it serviced then trade it in towards a newer model.
