Can anyone please explain how I can upload my iphone camera roll to my mac or external hardrive? I want to be able to have a completly clean camera roll on my iphone without losing my photos

The thought that I could continue to use my iPhone as a camera, is really exciting. I've only found a few short conversations about this. Is there anyone out there that is doing this with success? Separating iCloud Camera Rolls on iPhone 11 and 15 I purchased a new phone and my camera roll have synced so anything done one end is done on other. Is there a way to stop this from happening? I still want the camera roll connected to my Icloud account but I would like to deleter pictures off one phone and still have them on the other, same for taking new pictures. The old phone is an iphone 11 and the new one is a 15 [Re-Titled by Moderator]
