Apple pencil 1st Generation

Hello, so i just bought an apple pencil - 1st generation to use with an Ipad pro 10.5 inch and at first it wouldn't pair so i warmed it up and it then paired, but it now won't hold its charge and won't write on the screen. Any tips would be amazing!

Where was this Apple Pencil purchased?

If purchased as new, it could be new “old stock” and maybe too old and the battery is no longer able to charge.

Return your new Pencil and/or get your money back/replace with a much newer stock of 1st gen Apple Pencils.

If you purchased this Pencil from a physical store, test in store, with other compatible iPads, to make sure the Pencil works and charges normal, as it should.
