How to connect-control a Google Nest Thermostat with Apple Home app or Apple Home Pod Mini?

I have a Google Nest WiFi thermostat (Mfg 01/2022) and adjust it with the Google Home app.

The thermostat device does not have a QR code but the box does show a bar code and a SN serial number.

I typically use the AppleHome app to control several devices in my home.

I have just installed a new Home Pod Mini and it responds nicely to my requests to control various devices.

I want to be able to control the Google Nest Thermostat either from the Home Pod Mini or from the Apple Home app on my iPhone.

So ... How do I connect the Google Nest Thermostat to the Home Pod Mini / Apple Home App?

Since both devices are functioning on the same wifi network, can I simply ask Seri on the Home Pod mini to configure a connection automatically?

Thank you in advance for your thoughtful explanation.

Well Rudegar, You did it!

I read your first item from above by -- 'The Verge', followed their description, copied the code, pasted it in the Apple Home App for installing a new device.

And, my Google Nest Thermostat connected without flaw the first time!

Kudos to you and thank you so, so much!

After tentative trepidations, I'm incredibly excited that you provided such a quick, simple solution that WORKED. Yea!
