I have an apple one premier subscription. It works great for myself and both my daughters. For my wife, only icloud storage and apple fitness work. When she signs into music, TV and news , they all ask for her to buy a subscription.
I am the organizer, wife is parent. I have an iphone 13, my wife has an iphone12 mini. When I signed up, it automatically worked for myself and both daughters. My wife's never worked other than fitness and icloud, which were the only two she was interested in. She was trying to use apple music recently and it won't allow it without a subscription.
