in the Quick Start screen, the new phone seems stuck in “looking for nearby devices…”. The old phone says “finish on new iPhone “. Both devices have the spinning wheel going. This has lasted for almost an hour. Is this normal?
Mine did the same thing. Tried several things I saw on-line, but what worked was to just quit what you are doing, press the power button on the right to factory re-set the new phone. When the power comes back on, start over and the Quickstart goes smooth as silk.
In my case the new phone saw the old one for a few seconds but I was under to use the camera to start the process. I did a network reset on the old and restarted the transfer process. Transfer now in process on my new phone.
