Unable to use Messages and FaceTime on iPad

Nope…the verify screen is what pops up on the ipad..see below…maybe you have to verify/sign in before you get the screen you sent me. I do have that screen on my iphone.

Thanks, checked internet conn, etc… all are fine.. turned off imessage and facetime on my iphone…shut down my iphone, restarted it… no difference, ipad still is in limbo, cant verify or sign in to messaging..not sure what’s next…

No bueno..had tried shutdown restart before.. tried force restart…thanks for the suggestions.. i cringe thinking about going to the apple store…why is replying so hard, keeps saying try again later…takes forever

Is a trip to the Apple store the next step since nothing has worked? With some apps you can delete and reload when all else fails when they are acting erratically. Not sure you can do that to core Apple apps.

In its current non functioning state, that switch does not exist on the ipad any longer, it goes directly into verify or sign in mode, and times out…as it fails to do either
