It's impossible to define "best" without knowing more about what you need in a printer.
I would suggest that you get a printer that supports AirPrint. AirPrint lets you print even if the printer manufacturer does not supply separate drivers.
I concur with Servant of Cats for what would be the "best" printer for your needs without you providing us with any detailed requirements on what you intend on using it for.
FWIW, I just did a simple Internet search on "best printers for Macs" and came up with literally dozens of hits. I have tried a number of brands over the years, but pretty much stick with those from HP. Others may like other brands. I found Brother printers "difficult" to set up.
