How to "mirror" a recoded QT video

Recording a video with QuickTime. Using Mac OS 14.2.1.

The "rotate left, right, etc is grey out. Unable top do it.

iMac 24″, macOS 14.2

I'm using QuickTime to recording a very simple youtube video of myself talking. But, I want the image I see of myself to be "mirrored" like it looks in photo-booth, or on a Zoom call. If it is NOT mirrored, it feels awkward for me as I record myself. Maybe "flipped horizontal" would be a better way to say it. (what is the vocabulary word for this?) And, is there a way to make a high quality (high-resolution with audio and video) recording using PhotoBooth. This app is already set up where I'm seeing myself "flipped horizontal" There seems to be very little on this online, I searched for a while and found nothing. Casting from Mac (Ventura) with external dvd player to TV I have an external DVD player which seems to work fine in conjunction with the Mac itself. And I can screen mirror to my LG TV with no problem. But the combination does not work. As soon as I go to mirroring, the DVD app just displays a gray box, overwriting the video (apparently). I'm guessing it has something to do with resolving conflicts in resolution or the like, but do not know how to go about fixing the problem. Suggestions? Thanks!
