How to unlock eSIM on iPhone?

If you see 'invalid SIM' or 'no SIM' on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Unlocking a SIM card or unlocking a phone for use with a different carrier is done by the carrier, not by clearing "other" on your phone.

If Something is Dulled Out:

Clear the Caches:

Sometimes, when things are dulled out, you need to clear your caches. Happened to me thrice last week, and ridding of “System Data” (formerly called “Other”) solved this, allowing me to access it once more. It wouldn’t apply here, though:

My User Tip: How to Clear "Other" in your iPhone's Storage - Use Backup - User Tip. Caches would be being used for remembrance of application use. It is essentially the same for an iPhone. You'd backup your iPhone, and then restore your iPhone from the backup you've just created. "System Data" is what "Other" is called in more recent iOS versions.
