I use an iPhone 15 Pro Max, after updating iOS to 17.2.1 I can't add any bank cards to my wallet, I have asked my bank about it, and they said - a problem with the phone. Before the update, Apple Pay worked well.
I have tried rebooting device, resetting to default settings - nothing changed.
How can I fix it? Or only wait for the new update ios?

Change your Apple ID country or region
Please remove the card, restart the iPhone and then add the card again using a 4 digit number for the expiration date year (MM/YYYY).
I am trying to add Ukrainian bank cards to Apple Pay.
I successfully added a bank card to iPhone 15 Pro (version 17.1) but cant add the same card to iPhone 15 Pro Max (version 17.2.1)
Region on the iPhone and Apple ID - Ukraine on the both phones
The difference is only iOs version.
So I think the problem occurs after the update. I can't use Apple Pay and I'm trying to find a solution

Have to talked to the bank and explained the issue? Some banks will not allow cards to be added if the card/iPhone is out of certain regions/countries. Are you using a VPN?

today I tried to add a bank card to Apple Pay - it is working.
I successfully added my bank card to the wallet, I didn't change anything in settings or something else on the phone

Yes, first I asked my bank, and they said - the problem was on the telephone side, not on the bank. Also, I tried three different banks.
I don't use VPN
Before updating to 17.2.1 I added 2 bank card successful on this phone
I dont have any card on the wallet. And I cant set expiration date in this format (MM/YYYY), because it is possible to choose it only on the dropdown menu with format (MM/YY)

I set the region on iPhone - Ukraine, but now I located in Poland
Before updated phone to 17.2.1 - I added two bank cards to this phone and it worked, and after updating cant add any card
The iPhone and Apple ID have the same region -Ukraine
Also I tried to change region to Germany - in the profile and in the iPhone - it doesn't fix the problem

In this community i saw another posts about issue with adding bank cards after updating to 17.2.1
I have spoken with support today - iPhone is ok, they don't see any problem, but I can't add any card still
I bought a phone in Germany, first turn on - in Poland and first bank card I added also in the Poland
