Hi! When I am calling numbers that do not have my cell phone number saved, my location (IE ‘City, State’) appears under my phone number. Can you please advise on how to remove my city location from appearing? Thank you!
I understand exactly what you mean. It's a carrier feature. I believe the information is pulled from the area code and exchange (the three digits after the area code). For historical reasons, they are tied to specific geographic areas.
The only way I know of to avoid that is to turn off caller ID.

Are you saying this appears on the other person's phone?
That's a carrier feature. It may be yours, or it may be theirs, but there's nothing I know of that you can do about it.
Yes, my location appears on the other person’s phone. Both carrier and Apple don’t seem to have an answer for me. Not sure if I am explaining myself well or if there is just no fix.
